MARSHALL HOME PRESERVATION FUND, INC., TO EXEMPT DODONA MANOR FROM REAL PROPERTY TAXATION as amended. PASSED this 26th day of September, 1995. Clerk of Council ames E. Clem, Mayor own of Leesburg WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Leesburg has received a request from the George C. Marshall Home Preservation Fund, Inc., for a Resolution of Support for obtaining tax exempt status of Dodona Manor located in the Town of Leesburg; and WHEREAS, the Town Council held a public hearing on this matter on September 26, 1995; and WHEREAS, the Town Council has examined and considered the provisions of Section 30-19.04 which have been satisfied. THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows: SECTION I. The Leesburg Town Council supports the request of the George C. Marshall Home Preservation Fund, Inc., that its real property, known as Dodona Manor, further described as Tax Map Parcel 48A, Block 35, Parcel 13 located within the Town of Leesburg be exempt from taxation beginning January 1, 1996. SECTION II. The Town Council acknowledges that the 1995 assessed value of the real property is $1,585,700 and the tax levies are $15,698.44 of County tax and $3,250.69 Town tax; the 1994 assessed value of the real property was $1,584,400 and the tax levies were $16,156.80 of County tax and $3,248.02 Town tax. SECTION III. The Town Council further recommends that the tax exempt status be classified as an historical and cultural exemption as required by Section 30-19.04 (C) of the 1950 Code of Virginia,
