APPOINTING COUNCILMEMBERJ. FRANK BUTTERY, JR., TO THE
LOWDOWN COUNTY AND TOWN OF LEESBURG LOCAL
EMERGENCY PLANNING COMMITTEE (LEPC)
WHEREAS, the LEPC was established in 1988 by the Town Council and the Loudoun
County Board of Supervisors to comply with the Federal and State SARA Title III regulations; and
WHEREAS, county and town representatives serve on LEPC to develop policy and action
plans for implementation in emergency situations; and
WHEREAS, the councilmanic representative position is vacant.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
J. Frank Buttery, Jr. is hereby appointed to serve on the Loudoun County and Town of
Leesburg Local Emergency Planning Committee.
