Help Spread Holiday Cheer! Leesburg Seeks Participants in
Annual Christmas and Holiday Parade
Leesburg, VA (November 7, 2011) – The
Town of Leesburg invites you to help
create a little holiday magic in historic
downtown Leesburg. Join us for the
annual Christmas and Holiday Parade!
On Saturday, December 10, 2011, the
holiday spirit will be in full swing as
Leesburg hosts the annual Christmas and
Holiday parade. The parade will begin at
10:00 a.m. and usher Santa and his friends
down King Street, through the heart of historic Leesburg. Parade participation is free and open
to the public, including businesses, civic groups, teams, organizations, and community groups.
All groups are encouraged to join us for the parade and help spread holiday cheer. Creative
entries are always encouraged, including decorated wagons, historic vehicles, animals, musical
groups, dance troupes and festive floats.
Park gates open at 8:00am for set up and all participants must be onsite by 9:30am. Parade
line-up will be in the front field of Ida Lee Park, just north of Ida Lee Drive. The parade will begin
at Ida Lee Drive and end at Fairfax Street.
