HomeMy Public PortalAboutZBA Minutes 2013-04-17 Orleans Zoning Board of Appeals Minutes April 17,2013 A meeting of the Orleans Zoning Board of Appeals was held in the Skak-et Meeting Room at Town Hall. Present were Michael Mamik, D. Beth McCartney,Rolf Soderstrom, William McCarthy, and Greg DeLory. Building Commissioner Brian Harrison and Board Secretary Sandy Stewart were also present. Chainnan Michael Marnik called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. On motion by Mr. Soderstrom and seconded by Ms. McCartney, the Board voted 4-0-0 to approve minutes of the April 3, 2013 meeting. Mr. McCarthy was late to the meeting and was not present to vote on approval of the minutes. Case#1959 Orleans Bowling Center applied for a Special Permit as set forth in MGL Chapter 40A, Section 9, under Orleans Zoning Bylaw Sections 164-3C(2), 164-10, and 164-13,to construct an addition to the side of the building to add food and beverage service to the bowling center. The property is located at 191 Route 6A, Orleans Map#40, Parcel#37. Special Pen-nit granted. See attached Decision. Documents reviewed include the application of Orleans Bowling Center, Inc., by David Currier, filed March 7, 2013;the Site Plan prepared by Ryder&Wilcox, Inc., dated March 11, 2013;the letter of DEP to Ryder&Wilcox,Inc. dated February 21, 2013;the Site Plan-Proposed Grease Trap prepared by Ryder&Wilcox,Inc., dated September 27,2011;the drawings prepared by Thomas A Moore Design Co., dated February 21, 2013, Sheets Al and A2. Documents are held in the permanent Zoning Board of Appeals case file located at Town Hall. Case#1961 Robert and Kay Nagle have applied for a Special Pe 't as set forth in MGL Chapter 40A, Section 6,under Orleans Zoning Bylaw Sections 164-21A(Note 5)and 164-3C(1)(b)to construct a family room addition on a pre-existing, nonconforining single family dwelling where lot coverage exceeds 4,000 square feet. The property is located at 196 Rock Harbor Road, Orleans Map#17,Parcel 93-1. Special Permit granted. See attached Decision. Documents reviewed include the application of Robert R.Nagle and Kay W.
