Wayne Neddermeyer - Mayor in Chair Priscilla Arens - Clerk A11 members present The minutes of the meeting of May 6th, 1969 read. Moved by Rayburn Anderson to approve the minutes as corrected. Seconded by Raymond Bosch Motion carried. The minutes of the special meeting of May 20, 1969 read. Moved by Arthur Theis that the minutes be approved as read. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter Motion carried. The minutes of the meeting of the Planning Commission of May 19th read. Moved by Harold Winterhalter to pass a resolution that the meetings adjourn at the subj8otoon the agenda nearest at the 11 o'clock time. Seconded by Raymond Bosch Motion carried. Robert Scott appeared with regard to obtaining a special use permit for a dog kennel. Moved by Arthur Theis that we grant Robert Seiit a special use permit for his kennel on his property for five years.s Seconded by Rayburn Anderson Motion carried (Consent signed by neighbors on file) Moved by Raymond Bosch to donate $300.00 to the Hamel Athletic Club to finance their activities. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter Motion carried. The representatives of the Elk River Electric Cooperative appeared with regard to obtaining a special use for their sub -station. Moved by Harold Winterhalter to grant a special use permit to the Elk River Electric Cooperative for a sub -station structure on the site south and west of #87 as indicated on their map, subject to the approval of plans for super structure and screening and subject to use as a substation only. Seconded by Rayburn Anderson Motion carried. Mr. Mills reported that the State Highway Department had advised him that they plan to uegrUde turn-iffs 0455. He also advised &hat the Rolling Green Club will not be paying off assessments at the time the assessments are levied. He advised that we have informal information to the effect we will receive Federal funds for the sewer project. Moved by Raymond Bosch that the Village Attorney for the Village of Medina draft an ordinance with respect to manditory hook-up ME the sewer with a hardship clause included in the ordinance providing people have difficulty in obtaining a plumber in a thirty day period for the hook-up be waived, manditory date to be December 1, 1969. Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried. 154 A delegation from #116 appeared ttth regard to the sewer and water extension to them. Mr. Mills is going to contact the Pollution Control Department to see if they will approve an extension of the sewer district. Moved by Raymond Bosch to authorize the building inspector to issue Roland Wykhoff a permit to putt in a new septic system on his property in Independence Beach subject to the building inspec*or's approval. Seconded by Rayburn Anderson Motion carried. A letter from Senator Mondale with regard to availibility of assistance from the Federal Government read. Announcement of Annual Convention of the League of Minnesota Municipalities made. Report of the Metropolitan Transit Commission. Moved by Raymond Bosch to adopt a resolution to extend Reiser road off of #88, 80 rods, pursuant to a road petition passed by the Town Board of Medina on August 17, 1959, to be filed. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter Motion carried. Moved by Arthur Theis to pay the bills as follows: Payroll in the amount of $3,296.17 and order checks in the amount of $94,131.37. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter Motion carried. Leo Leuer reported on the roads and the date of June 9th set for going over the roads at 7:00 P. M.
