Dear Custodian of Records,
I am in receipt of your response to my request for a public record I made to you on Nov 12, 2014 at 4:41 PM, forwarded
herein for your reference.
On Nov 13, 2014 at 9:53 AM, 16 hours after I made the request, you created public record PRR 14 -1627, in which you
published my record request on the Town's website.
On Sat, Nov 15, 2014 at 2:44 PM you sent me a delay form letter (attached for your reference).
On Feb 20, 2015 you finally produced the record; a delay period of 13 weeks from the time I requested the record.
You provided me a link (http: / /www2.gulf- stream. ore/ WebLink8 /0 /doe/28660/Pagel.ast)x) to find this record. The record
at the link is 10 pages long. You did not request any money from me for its production, I therefore conclude that the
production of this record took less than 15 minutes.
You may remember you wrote to me in the past and explained it was your policy to only produce records that exist at the
time a request is made; that you don't produce future records previously requested.
This record existed at the time I requested it and required less than 15 minutes to produce. I respectfully ask why you spent
time creating PRR 14 -1627 AND spent time sending me the delay form letter AND then waited 13 weeks to produce the
record that you could have otherwise easily produced at the time I requested it?
Please provide the public record which is that portion of the Town's Public Records Policy that addresses the procedure for
responding to a public record request. Please do NOT provide the entire Public Records Policy. I make this request with
the same admonitions and terms as my original request.
