Corbin St. Present: Chair Cole Kenworthy, Vice Chair Richard von Furstenberg, Commissioner Robb English, Wendy Kuhn, Adam McGovern, Alyse Polly, David Weinberg and Paul Weinberg Absent: none Staff: Public Space and Sustainability Manager Stephanie Trueblood 1. Call to order and confirmation of quorum Chair Cole Kenworthy called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Public Space and Sustainability Manager Stephanie Trueblood called the roll and noted there was a quorum present. 2. Agenda changes and approval No changes were made. Motion: Vice Chair Richard von Furstenberg moved to approve the agenda as amended. Member Alyse Polly seconded. Vote: 8-0. 3. Discussion items Review Social Systems & Public Space chapter of draft Comprehensive Sustainability Plan Trueblood and the board reviewed the chapter. Trueblood noted additional information that could be included in the draft chapter. No action was taken. 4. Parks and recreation-related reports A. Board of Commissioners: Robb English English gave a brief report. B. Planning Board: Alyse Polly There was no report. C. Intergovernmental Parks Work Group: Stephanie Trueblood There was no report. 5. Park steward reports Board members reported on the conditions of the parks for which they serve as stewards. Trueblood noted any small repairs that needed attention and gave brief reports on small repairs that had been made since the previous meeting. PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD MINUTES | 2 of 2 6. Staff updates Trueblood provided updates that included: • Gold Park Master Plan is complete. • Creek Week activities • Four tree plantings • Feasibility studies • Skate Spot • Public comment period is still open on draft Comprehensive Sustainability Plan. • Repairs 7. Adjournment Motion: von Furstenberg moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:37 p.m. Member Adam McGovern seconded.
