AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
T&M ASSOCIATES -
TRAFFIC SIGNAL PLAN REVIEW/INTERCHANGE 12 INTERIM
IMPROVMENTS
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional engineering
services with regard to review of the traffic signal plan related to the interim
improvements to Interchange 12; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's Consulting Engineer for the project, T&M
Associates, possesses the requisite skill and expertise to provide said services; and
WHEREAS, Donald J. Norbut, P.E., C.M.E. of T&M Associates has submitted a
proposal to provide said engineering services at a total cost not to exceed
$2,250.00; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal;
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be
available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from Donald J. Norbut, P.E., C.M.E. of T&M Associates for
review of the traffic signal plan for the interim improvements to Interchange 12 at
a total cost not to exceed $2,250.00, at the hourly rate set forth in T & M's
existing contract with the Borough is hereby approved.
2. Annexed hereto is a copy of said proposal.
3. This action is approved as an award ora professional services contract.
Adopted this 17th day of June, 2004
and certified as a true copy of the
original on June 18, 2004.
