Howard Hayes Also attending was David Tately, Deputy Assessor Mr. Jursak called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. Old Business: New Business: Mr. Jursak motioned to enter into Executive Session at 6:38 p.m. to discuss Abatements and Exemptions and not return to open session. Mr. Hayes seconded. Z l: l d Z l NYf 90. i 0 � .• Board of Assessors Meeting November 3,2005 Executive Session Robert Armstrong, owner of the property at 0 Carsons Way, Map 36, Parcel 37, Extension 107, appeared before the board to discuss his abatement application. He explained his plans for the building on the property and his estimate of its value. The Board took the matter under advisement until the property could be inspected by Mr. Tately and Mr. Jursak. Mr. Jursak moved to grant Exemptions to the following: Helen Staats of 108 Woodview Drive, 41 C Elderly Exemption Evelyn Donnelly of 38 Friendship Lane, 41 C Elederly Exemption Joyce Munsey of 1480 Main Street, 41 C Elderly Exemption Ruth Stevens of 80 Howes Road, 41 A Deferral Frances Golden of 502 Harwich Road, 18A Deferral Mr. Hayes seconded the motion, which passed 2-0. Mr. Jursak moved to deny the 41 C Exemption application of Helen Brandon of 33 Great Oak Road, due to her lack of an ownership interest in the property. Mr. hayes seconded the motion, which passed 2-0. Mr. Jursak motioned to grant the Personal Property abatements on the attached list, beginning with Moan, William Jr& Doreen A, and ending with Zerendow,Victoria W & Donald P, in the total amount of$1,096.81. Mr. Hayes seconded the motion, which passed 2-0. Mr. Jursak motioned to grant the following Real Estate abatements. Mr. Hayes seconded. 1. Stramowski,Francis E-1 Linda Circle-- $23,300 2. Robinson, David E.,Trustee-9 Fair Oak Drive $21,000 I 3. Neuman, Clare L— 15 Knoll Lane $75,000 4. Morse, Robert A & Adriann V-13 Knoll Lane $76,300 5. Laursen,Philip & Patricia-1079 Crowells Bog Road $171,400 6. L'Etoile, Gene J Sr& Nancy A-100 South Pond Drive $24,100 The Board scheduled the next meeting for November 15`h, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. Mr. Hayes motioned to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Jursak seconded.
