Leesburg Toys for Tots Drive Begins on November 18, 2011
Annual toy drive for disadvantaged children will accept donations at five
drop-off locations at Town of Leesburg facilities.
Leesburg, VA (November 16, 2011) –
The Town of Leesburg is partnering with
the Marine Corps League of Loudoun
County, Detachment #1205, to sponsor
this year’s annual U.S. Marine Corps
Reserve Toys for Tots campaign. Toys
collected will go to the children of
families supported by the Loudoun
County Holiday Coalition and other agencies serving less fortunate families in the
Loudoun and Western Fairfax area.
Toy donations will be accepted at five drop-off locations at Town of Leesburg facilities:
Town Hall, 25 West Market Street
Thomas Balch Library, 208 West Market Street
Leesburg Police Department, 65 Plaza Street NE
Ida Lee Recreation Center, 60 Ida Lee Drive NW
Leesburg Executive Airport, 1001 Sycolin Road SE
Donated toys should be new, unwrapped and appropriate for children ages 1-12.
Donations will be accepted from November 18, 2011 through December 16, 2011.
Monetary donations may be given directly to the local branch of the Marine Toys for Tots
Foundation by visiting their website at http://loudoun-va.toysfortots.org.
