A meeting of the Orleans Zoning Board of Appeals was held in the Skaket Meeting
Room at Town Hall, Present were Michael Marruk,D. Beth McCartney,Matthew Cole,
William McCarthy, and Greg DeLory. Building Commissioner Brian Harrison and
Board Secretary Sandy Stewart were also present.
Chairman Michael Marnik called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Case 91962
Amy Benz and Jacqueline Zartarian have applied for a Special Permit as set forth in
MGL Chapter 40A, Section 9, under Orleans Zoning Bylaw Section 164-10A and 164-13
to allow a change in use from office space to the retail sale and consignment of fin-niture
in the Limited Business Zoning District. The property is located at 143 Route 6A,
Orleans Map#33,Parcel#96.
Special Permit granted. See attached Decision. Documents reviewed include the
application of Amy Benz and Jacqueline Zartarian, filed April 5,2013; the Plan recorded
with Barnstable Registry of Deeds in Book 514,Page 31, a Site Plan prepared by John Ni
Reilly, and floor plans. Documents are held in the permanent Zoning Board of Appeals
case file located at To Hall.
On motion by Ms. McCartney and seconded by Mr. McCarthy,the Board voted 5-0-0 to
approve minutes of the April 17,2013 meeting as amended.
More detailed requirements for applications was raised as a topic again. Mi. Marnik will
circulate the most recent proposal for review and discussion at the June 5th meeting.
On motion by Ms. McCartney, seconded by Mr. Cole and unanimously approved by the
Board,the meeting was adjourned at 7:52 p.m.
