A RESOLUTION APPROVING A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE UTAH
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR DESIGN ENGINEERING
REE IBURSEMENT FOR THE 500 WEST STREET 11VIPROVEMENTS PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Moab, as a local government agency has been awarded Federal -aid
highway funds to be applied towards the design and construction of the 500 West Street
improvements project; and
WHEREAS, the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is the entity authorized to
administer said Federal -aid funds on behalf of the Federal Highway Administration in the state of
Utah; and
WHEREAS, the Cooperative Agreement between the
Transportation referenced herein establishes the roles
respect to the administration of the Federal -aid funds;
WHEREAS, the Cooperative Agreement between the
Transportation is attached to this resolution.

NOW THEREFORE, WE, THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MOAB DO HEREBY
RESOLVE to enter into a Cooperative Agreement with the Utah Department of Transportation
for Design Engineering Reimbursement for the 500 West Street Improvements Project (UDOT
Project Number: Hpp-Lc 19(l 1)) and do hereby approve the attached Cooperative Agreement and
authorize the appropriate parties to execute and deliver said agreement.
PASSED AND APPROVED in open Council by a majority vote of the Governing Body of Moab
City Council on January 8, 2008.
