ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF THE POTOMAC STATION
MIDDLE SCHOOL SITE AND TRANSFERRING THE DEED TO THE
LOUDOUN COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD
WHEREAS, in accordance with approved proffers for Harper Park, (ZM-147), the
developer, KSI, has prepared the necessary legal documents transferring ownership of the 35.1007
acre middle school site at Potomac Station; and
WHEREAS, the town must accept the dedication and transfer ownership to the Loudoun
County School Board for the site to be developed as a middle school for Leesburg and Loudoun
County citizens.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The dedication of the Potomac Station Middle School site as provided in the proffers of ZM-
147 is hereby accepted and the Mayor is authorized to execute a deed to accept such property on
behalf of the town. The Mayor is further authorized to execute a deed to transfer such property
to Loudoun County School Board for use as a middle school for Leesburg and Loudoun County
citizens.
