The minutes of the previous meeting of May 7, 1968 read. Moved by Harcld
Anterhalter that the minutes be approved as read.
Seconded by Rayburn. Anderson

The minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of May 20, 1968 read.
Yr. 8: Mrs. Robert Higgins appeared with regard to their septic problem.
They were advised to get a proposed remedy from Sullivan Septic Service
and then contact the building inspector.
Tom Oglund appeared with regard to the box cars he has on his property.
Moved by Raymond Bosch to authorize the b_ilding inspector to grant Tom
Oglund a permit to allow the box car ix) remain in Medina, provided he
removes the one out in the field and fixes the exterior of the one that
is to remain, and also that he pay the find. as re uired under Section 1¢
of the building code which is a 5.00 fine for each one.

William Mills gave a re_ ort on the progress of the sewer and seater project
and George Gubbins gave a report on the negotiations for the purchase of
land for a well. Moved by Harold 'linterhalte_r that we authorize the engineer
and attorney to negotiate for the drilling of a test well on property, the
fee not to exceed 100.00 and to negotiate for the ultimate purchase of one
b.ere of rroperty not to exceed U000.00.
Seconded by Arthur Theis.

Discussion of the Street Naming gad numbering system. Moved by Rayburn
Anderson that we adopt the street naming and house numbering system that
the Planning Commission has proposed to us.
Seconded by Arthur Theis.
Motion carried.
A letter from Fr. Ardolf of St. Anne's Church stating that they wanted to
be included in the sewer and water project was read.
Letter; from Douglas Sorensen and John Willegalla stating that they did not
cull in the fires of March 28th and 29th were read. The Clerk advised to
find out the name of the owners of the property and bill them.
A letter from the Fire Underwriters setting forth the requirement to get
the fire rating for Medina changed was read. No action to be taken until
the water system in the Hamel area is under waft.

Letters from the Minnesota League of Municipalities giving the date for the
Convention in June were reejd.
Moved by Arthur Theis to pay the bills as follows: payroll in the amount
of 31567.63 and'order checks in the amount of 35656.19.
Seconded by Harold Winterhalter
Motion carried.
Moved by Raymond Bosch to have a special meeting at 8 P. M. on June 13th
to review the contract with the Hennepin County Park Reserve.
Seconded Sy Rayburn Anderson
Motion carried.
Announcement was made of the League of Municipalities meeting Thursday
June 69 1966 at the Golden Valley Village Hall.
Moved by Rayburn Anderson that the meeting adjourn.
Seconded by Raymond Bosch.
Motion carried.
