RESOLUTION NO. 96-142

A RESOLUTION: MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE CABLE COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the terms of office for Cable Commission members Barbara Cassidy, David Hall and
Robert Latta, Jr., expired on June 30, 1996; and
WHEREAS, a cable franchisee appointment vacancy currently exists; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Ordinance 95-0-24, adopted September 12, 1995, the Council shall
appoint four members and the cable franchisee shall appoint three members by and with the consent of the
Town Council.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. is appointed to the Cable Commission, by the franchisee with the
consent of the Town Council, for a term to expire on June 30, 1997.
SECTION II. Barbara Cassidy is appointed to the Cable Commission, by the franchisee with the
consent of the Town Council, for a two year term to expire on June 30, 1998.
SECTION III. Robert Latta, Jr. and David Hall are appointed to the Cable Commission for two year
terms to expire on June 30, 1998.
