A Resolution to approve the disposition of Real Property to the City of Tiffin, Iowa
from the Clear Creek Amana School District for 630 Square Feet of Property for
the Purpose of Constructing a Culvert Under Hwy 6 as Part of the Highway 6
Widening Project, a 28-E Agreement Entered into Jointly with the Clear Creek
Amana School District and the City of Tiffin, with participation with the Iowa
Department of Transportation, Project # STPN-6-7(78)-2J-52
WHEREAS the Clear Creek Amana School District approved on March 25, 2009 for the
disposition of the 630 Square Feet of Real Property to convey to the City of Tiffin, Iowa
to construct a culvert under Hwy 6 as part of the Hwy 6 Widening Project. Legal
Description of Real Property attached as Attachment "A".
THEREFORE the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa accepts the disposition of 630 Square
Feet of Property from the Clear Creek Amana School District for the purpose of
Constructing a culvert under Hwy 6 during the Hwy 6 Widening Project.
Motion made by Councilperson Petersen seconded by Councilperson Ball to accept and
approve the Real Property on this 8�of Apri12009.
Ayes: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mike Gericke, Mark Petersen, John Wright
Nays: None
Absent: None
Mayor Royce Phillips accepts and approves the 630 Square Feet of Real Property from
the Clear Creek Amana School District as described by the legal description on
Att lent "A" by affixing his signature on this 91h day of AR!2 2009.

Resolution 2009-09
A Resolution To Approve Adoption of the 2009 Land Use Plan and Map. The Plan
Will Serve as a Reference and Guide to Other Research or Grantsmanship Carried
Out by City Leaders For the General Betterment of the Community. The Plan
Provides for Growth in Appropriate Areas (Contiguous Extensions of the Existing
Community) to Protect Against Sprawling Development and the Loss of Prime
Farmland and Natural Areas.
WHEREAS, THE Tiffin Planning and Zoning Commission has prepared this plan and map
with assistance from the East Central Iowa Council of Governments (ECICOG) and
WHEREAS, the plan was written to include the following components: population, housing,
annexation policies, existing and future land use, and City goals and policies;
WHEREAS, said Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council of Tiffin, Iowa have
.duly held a Public Hearing and have recommended the plan's and map's adoption by the
City Council of Tiffin, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa, after
duly holding a public hearing, to adopt said plan and map as the official future planning
documents of Tiffin, Iowa.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said plan and map shall be placed on file in appropriate
places and provided to appropriate officials for reference purposes for the deliberation of
land use issues and enforcement of land use ordinances as hereafter may be adopted by
Tiffin, Iowa.
Motion made by Council person Gericke seconded by Council person Ball to accept and
approve Resolution 2009-09 To Approve Adoption of the 2009 Land Use Plan and Map.

NAYS: None
ABSENT: John Wright
