BOARD OF DIRECTORS
May 14, 1994
MINUTES
I. CALL TO ORDER
President Ginny Babbitt called the Special Meeting to order at 8:45 A.M. in the parking
lot of Rancho San Antonio County Park. She stated that the purpose of the meeting was
to conduct a field trip with officials from various agencies in Santa Clara County.
Members Present: Ginny Babbitt, Nonette Hanko, Wim de Wit, Robert McKibbin, and
Betsy Crowder.
Members Absent: Pete Siemens and Teena Henshaw.

Personnel Present: Craig Britton, Randy Anderson, Malcolm Smith, John Escobar, Jean
Fiddes, Warren Phillips, Tom Lausten, Patrick Congdon, and Joan Combs.

II. TOUR OF DISTRICT LANDS
The bus tour's first stop was Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve. Tour members visited
the Daniels Nature Center on Skyline Open Space Preserve and walked around Alpine
Pond. The tour then proceeded to Monte Bello Open Space Preserve, where participants
walked to the vista point. The tour then went over Montebello Road to the Picchetti
Ranch Area of Monte Bello Open Space Preserve, where lunch was served.
III. ADJOURNMENT
The buses returned to the parking lot at Rancho San Antonio County Park at 1:50 P.M.
and the meeting was adjourned.
