A RESOLUTION BY THE MOAB CITY COUNCIL TO ADOPT THE CITY OF MOAB
TENTATIVE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2008-2009 AND SET A PUBLIC HEARING FOR
REVIEW OF THE FINAL BUDGET ON JUNE 10, 2008 AT 7:30 PM
WHEREAS, on April 4, 2008, the City Manager submitted a tentative budget to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to adopt the tentative budget as required by State law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make the tentative budget available for public review and comment
at least ten days prior to the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to set a public hearing for June 10, 2008, at 7:30 PM to receive
additional public input on the budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOAB, UTAH as
follows:
1. The City Council hereby adopts the tentative budget attached as Exhibit "A", which is attached
hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
2. The City Council will hereby conduct a public hearing to review the final budget for fiscal year 2008-
2009 on June 10, 2008 at 7:30 PM.
PASSED AND ADOPTED in open Council by a majority vote of the Governing Body of the City of Moab
this 27'h day of Mav, A.D., 2008.
