A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY EULOGIZING DOUGLAS ALAN ROSS AND
EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES TO HIS FAMILY
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City
Council of the City of Temple City that Specialist /4 Douglas Alan
Ross, United States Army, has been reported "Missing in Action" in
Vietnam while performing his duties as a radio operator, and is now
presumed dead, and
WHEREAS, Douglas Alan Ross is a 1966 graduate of Temple
City High School, and
WHEREAS, his mother, Mrs. Margaret Ross, is a resident of
Temple City at 9969 Daines Drive,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple
City does hereby express its warmest condolences to the family of
Douglas Alan Ross in their hour of bereavement and offers its
eulogies to Douglas Alan Ross who gave his life fighting for freedom
and his country.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of May, 1969.

California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution, being
Resolution No. 69 -916, was duly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 20th day of May, 1969.
