A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A DEED CONVEYING
PROPERTY ON SMYRNA ROAD
WHEREAS, The Richmond Sanitary District (RSD) of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
has previously authorized the sale of a tract of land located on Smyrna
Road, pursuant to Indiana Code 36- 1 -11 -5, and has completed the
statutory process necessary prior to conveyance of such property; and
WHEREAS, The Richmond Sanitary District, through its Board of Sanitary
Commissioners, has adopted Resolution No. 18 -2009 on September 8,
2009 to undertake such sale, and to delegate to the Executive Director of
the Sanitation department the authority to sign a deed of conveyance of the
property; and
WHEREAS, Due to the unavailability of the designated individual to perform such duty
and exercise such authority, it is necessary to designate another official of
the Richmond Sanitary District to do so.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Richmond Board of Sanitary
Commissioners, the governing body of the Richmond Sanitary District, that:
1. Richard W. Bodiker, Richmond Sanitary Board President, be authorized to
sign the deed of conveyance of the property located on Smyrna Road, and
referenced in Board Resolution No. 18 -2009 adopted on September 8, 2009,
and any accompanying documents as may be required, and otherwise act as the
authorized representative of the City of Richmond and Richmond Sanitary
District.
