AUTHORIZING A RIGHT OF ENTRY AGREEMENT AND MISCELLANEOUS
EASEMENTS REQUIRED FOR ROUTE 15 BYPASS/SYCOLIN ROAD
IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, plans for the construction and improvements to Route 15 Bypass/Sycolin Road have been
prepared and reviewed by the town; and
WHEREAS, construction necessitates the relocation of telephone and electric easements currently
encumbering property owned by the town; and
WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Transportation has requested a "right of entry" agreement
to enter town property for the purpose of constructing and improving Sycolin Road; and
WHEREAS, Virginia Power and Bell Atlantic-Virginia, Inc. have requested easements for relocation
of utilities currently located on town property.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The Town Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute said easements and agreements, in
a form approved by the Deputy Town Attorney, to facilitate construction of the Route 15 Bypass/Sycolin Road
improvements.
