A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY EULOGIZING
PFC DAVID ZIMMERMAN AND EXPRESSING
CONDOLENCES TO HIS FAMILY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Temple City has
received notice of the death of PFC David Zimmerman, 3rd Marine
Division, who was killed in ambush in Duang Tri Province, Vietnam,
on April 21, 1968, and
WHEREAS, PFC David Zimmerman was, for several years, a
resident of this City, and a contributor to the growth and develop-
ment of the community life; and
WHEREAS, his wife Linda resides at 9567 Pentland in this City;
and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Zimmerman, reside in the
neighboring City of Pasadena,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY,
does hereby express its condolences to his family and offers its
eulogies to PFC David Zimmerman, who gave his life fighting for
freedom and his country.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.
