1. Call to Order
COMMITTEE MEMERS ABSENT:
Andy Bonderer
Chair Larry Brandhorst called the meeting to order at 9:35am.
2. Review and Approve minutes of the June 15, 2016 meeting (a quorum was not present at the
July 6th and July 20th meetings).
The committee approved the minutes for June 15, 2016.
3. Old Business-Review list of proposed amendments
None were noted for changes.
4. Continue review of Chapter 5 and 6, starting at Section 509.
The committee was able to go through Chapter 5 and 6 without any modifications. Chapter 7
was started and the committee went up to Section 712.
5. New Business
Considerable discussion was centered on Certificates of Occupancy. The basic question asked is
why do we have them?
6. Public Comments
None were made.
7. Next Meeting Date? .... August 17th?
The next meeting date will be from 9:30am to 11:30 am, August 17, 2016.
8. Adjourn
The meeting adjourned at 11:30 am.
Proposed Amendments to the 2015 International Building Code:
1. Section 305.2.3 -Replace "five" with "ten" throughout this section.
2. Section 308.6.4 -Replace "five" with "ten" throughout this section.
3. Section 402 -Does this Section include "strip malls?"
4. Section 420.5-Review automatic sprinkler system for Group R occupancies.
