1. Call to Order
COMMITTEE MEMBERS ABSENT:
Randy Cole -resigned
Jim Lambirth
Matt Rimiller
Chair Crabtree called the meeting to order at 7:34a.m. in the Small Conference Room of City
Hall. A quorum was present.
2. Review and approve meeting minutes for May 24, 2016.
The minutes were approved by the committee.
3. Public Comments
No public comments were made.
4. Old Business
None was discussed.
5. Continue review of the Fire Code, starting at Section 105 through Chapter 2.
Review of Chapter 1 continued with considerable discussion of the operational permits issued
by the Fire Department. Construction permits are issued by the Building Regulations Division.
Chapters 2 and 3 were gone through with no proposed amendments. The review was made
through Section 104 of the Fire Code. The committee will start next time at Section 105.
6. New Business
Chapters 4 and 5 will be for the next meeting. Also, Randy Cole has accepted a position with the
National Fire Sprinkler Association. He will no longer be able to participate with the committee.
A replacement might be proposed.
7. Next meeting date? -July 26th?
The next meeting date will be July 18, 2016.
8. Adjourn
The meeting adjourned at 8:57a.m.
