A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE PUBLIC INTEREST, CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY
REQUIRE THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES AND ALL USES APPURTENANT
THERETO (PENTLAND - Corporation Yard)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Temple City
does hereby find, determine and declare that the public interest,
convenience and necessity require the acquisition by said City of
the fee title interest in and to certain hereinafter described real
property for public purposes and all uses appurtenant thereto.
That the location of said rights of way has been planned
and located in a manner which will be most compatible with the
greatest public good and the least private injury.
SECTION 2. That it is the intention of said City Council to
acquire said property in its name, by a proceeding in condemnation,
in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure
of the State of California.
SECTION 3. That said real property hereinabove referred to,
the acquisition of which is required by said public interest, con-
venience and necessity, for the purposes set forth in SECTION 1
hereof, is located in the City of Temple City, County of Los
Angeles, State of California, and is more particularly described:
Lot 4, Tract No. 12210, in the City of Temple City, in
the county of Los Angeles, state of California, as per
map recorded in book 230 page 36 of Maps, in the office
of the county recorder of said county.
EXCEPT the easterly 5 feet thereof.
SECTION 4. That the City Attorney of the City of Temple City,
and designated Special Counsel, are hereby authorized and directed
to prepare, institute and prosecute, in the name of said City,
such proceedings in the proper Court having jurisdiction thereof
as may be necessary for the acquisition of said real property above
described.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution and forward copies hereof to the City Attorney.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted
by the City Council of the City of Temple City, at a regular meeting
held on the 17th day of June, 1969, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen - Beckley, Briggs, - Merritt, Harker
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilmen - Tyrell
