AUTHORIZING ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE RIPTIDE
PARENTS ASSOCIATION, INC., FOR THE USE OF IDA LEE RECREATION
CENTER
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg provides pool lanes at the Ida Lee Recreation Center to the
Riptide Swim Team; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission and the Riptide Parents Association
have agreed to enter into a contract for use of Ida Lee Recreation Center; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee of the Town Council recommended approval for the contract:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The Council of the Town of Leesburg authorizes the Town Manager to enter into a contract with
the Riptide Parents Association for the use of Ida Lee Recreation Center through March of 1998.
