Attached please find a printout of a proposed contractor's sign for the above referenced
address. Plans for the home are currently in for review with your town and the county.
With your approval, we would like to place this contractor's sign on the construction
jobsite. In accordance with Paragraph 5 of the Construction Site Management Handbook,
the sign will be 3 feet wide by 2 feet tall, totaling six square feet, and printed in full color.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF GULF
STREAM, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA AMENDING CHAPTER 66 OF THE
TOWN CODE OF ORDINANCE RELATING TO ZONING AT ARTICLE VIII
SUPPLEMENTARY DISTRICT REGULATIONS, DIVISION 7 SIGNS, SECTION 66-
447 SPECIFICATIONS FOR PERMITTED SIGNS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT;
PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF GULF
STREAM, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Town Code of Ordinances is hereby amended at Chapter 66,
relating to Zoning at Article VIII, Division 7, Section 66 -447 as follows: (words
underlined are additions; words strnieken are deletions).
Sec. 66 -447. Specifications for permitted signs.
Any real estate sign offering property for sale or rent may be
double -sided in design , however. It shall not exceed two square feet in
total dimension. Color of signs shall be a white background with black
lettering thereon. There shall be no raised lettering. Further, no such real
estate sign shall be extended or hung from a pole or poles, but shall be
enclosed within a metal frame, The supporting member of the frame of
the sign sliall be installed into the ground to provide that the top of the
face of such sign shall not be more than four feet above the finished grade
of the ground. Real estate signs shall consist of one sign only, and there
shall be no accessory signs attached thereto or located within the frame in
which the real estate sign is enclosed. Any other sign permitted herein
shall not exceed a dimension of- si:E-two square feet, the color shall be a
white background with black lettering thereon and shall be single -sided in
design. All real estate signs must be located on the premises of the
property being advertised for sale, no such signs being allowed on the
public right -of -way or off -site. Any sign erected, displayed or maintained
in violation of this section shall constitute a violation of this chapter.
Section 2. Severability.
If any provision of this Ordinance or the application thereof is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect the other provisions or applications and to this end the
provisions of this Ordinance are hereby declared severable.
NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Architectural Review and
Planning Board of the Town of Gulf Stream will hold a Public
Hearing on September 23,2004 at 8:30 A.M., in the Commission
Chambers of the Town Hall, 100 Sea Road, Gulf Stream, Florida, at
which the following will be considered:
An application submitted by Ellemar Enterprises, Inc., agents
for Emerald Row, LLC, owners of the property located at 955
Emerald Row, Gulf Stream, Florida, legally described as Lot
60 and part of Lot 61, Place Au Soleil subdivision for the
following:
Installation of a project sign not to exceed two (2)
square feet in size.
The Architectural Review and Planning Board shall make a
final decision regarding the subject application at the meetings
noticed above. These meetings may be adjourned from time to time
and place to place as may be necessary to hear all parties and
evidence.
The complete application materials are on file in the Office
of the Town Clerk located at 100 Sea Road, Gulf Stream, Florida
33483, and may be reviewed during regular business hours, which
generally include non - holiday weekdays from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
ALL PARTIES INTERESTED IN THESE MATTERS may appear before the
Architectural Review and Planning Board of the Town of Gulf Stream
at the times and place aforesaid and be heard.
SHOULD ANY INTERESTED PARTY SEEK TO APPEAL ANY DECISION MADE BY
THE ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW AND PLANNING BOARD WITH RESPECT TO ANY
MATTER CONSIDERED AT THESE PUBLIC HEARINGS, SAID PARTY WILL NEED A
