PLUMBING BOARD OF REVIEW& EXAMINERS
June 9, 2016

Call To Order
The Plumbing Board of Review& Examiners met June 9, 2016, in the Small Conference Room
of the John G. Christy Municipal Building. The meeting was called to order by Richard Hunt at
5:00 p.m. A quorum was present.
Approval of Minutes for the March 9, 2016 Meeting
A motion was made by Jerry Raithel and seconded by Gary Michel to approve the minutes of
the March 8, 2016 meeting. Motion passed unanimously.
Topics to Discuss
a. Submit Applicants Requiring Journeyman & Master business Licenses
• Gerald Rosslan applied to take the Masters test but the Plumbing Board needed
more proof of hours of plumbing experience.
• Clint Otto was approved to take the Journeyman Plumbing test.
• Wacey Jo Deardeuff was approved to take the Journeyman Plumbing test.
• Dusty Mason was approved to take the Journeyman Plumbing test.
• Travis Hopkins was approved to take the Masters Plumbing test.
b. Review of Changes from 2009 to 2015 Code
The Board discussed reviewing the changes between the 2009 and 2015 codes and
decided to have the Plumbing Inspector document any necessary changes and present
those to the Board.
Old Business
There was none.
New Business
• The Board showed interest in getting a reciprocal license agreement with the City of
Columbia.
• The Board discussed requiring a home owner, who is interested in remodeling their own
home, take a written test pertaining to plumbing to see if they are competent enough to
do the work themselves or require them to hire a licensed plumbing contractor.
Adjournment
With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
