A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY REQUESTING ADDITIONAL
LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES WITHIN THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY, FROM THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY
SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, UNDER THE LAW ENFORCE-
MENT SERVICES AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Temple City,
pursuant to the terms and provisions of the Law Enforcement
Services Agreement, dated June 25, 1969, and entered into by
and between the County of Los Angeles and the City of Temple City,
does hereby request the County of Los Angeles, through the County
Sheriff's Department, to provide additional Law Enforcement Services,
said services being in addition to those heretofore requested by the
Law Enforcement Services Agreement.
SECTION 2. In addition to the General Law Enforcement
Services now being provided to the City of Temple City, pursuant
to the Law Enforcement Services Agreement, the City Council hereby
requests the following:
(a) business license investigation and enforcement services
when requested by the City, together with other services
necessarily related thereto,
(b) traffic control service to consist of four (4)
fifty -six hour (56 hr.) per week traffic patrol units,
and
(c) crossing guard service
SECTION 3. It is hereby requested that the County Board of
Supervisors, or its designated agent or.. agency, .approve __and . authorize
the performance of services requested in this Resolution, subject to
the terms and conditions set forth in the Law Enforcement Services
Agreement dated June 25, 1969.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is directed to forward a Certified
Copy of this Resolution to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, to
the County Sheriff's Office and to the Chief Administrative Office,
County of Los Angeles.

the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting held
on the 15th day of July, 1969, by the following vote of the Council:
