RESOLUTION 16-15
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, IDAHO,
ADOPTING FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR OVERNIGHT PARKING IN THE MILL ROAD
PARKING LOT; PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of McCall Council, at their June 9, 2016 Regular Meeting, adopted
Ordinance 943 requiring a permit to park any vehicle or trailer overnight in the Mill Road
Parking Lot June 1 through August 31 each year; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing advising of the overnight parking fee was published in
The Star News, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, on June 16 and 23, 2016; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the proposed new fee on June 30, 2016, as required by
law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it is in the best interest of the owners of
property and of the inhabitants within the City to adopt the fees as set forth below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MCCALL, VALLEY COUNTY, IDAHO THAT:
Section 1: The following fee is hereby adopted as the overnight parking fee for the Mill
Road Parking Lot beginning July 1, 2016 and June 1 through August 31every year thereafter:
Mill Road Overnight Parking Fee $15 per night
Section 2: Revenue from the parking fees will be used for the ongoing maintenance of the
Mill Road Parking Lot.
Section 4: This resolution shall be in full force and effect on July 1, 2016.
Passed and approved this 30 day of June.
