RESOLUTION 16-16
}
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, IDAHO,
ADOPTING FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR PROCESSING PUBLIC RECORDS REQUESTS;
PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Idaho Code § 74-102(c) (d) and (e) allows a public agency to establish a copying
fee schedule; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing advising of the public record request fees was published
in The Star News, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, on June 16 and 23, 2016;
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the proposed new fee on June 30, 2016, as required by
law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it is in the best interest of the owners of
property and of the inhabitants within the City to adopt the fees as set forth below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MCCALL, VALLEY COUNTY, IDAHO THAT:
Section 1: The fees to be paid to the City in advance for processing a Public Records
Request under Idaho Code § 74-102, shall be:
Copies .10 cents per page in excess of 100 pages
CD $1.00 per CD
Staff Time no less than $20 per hour if request
exceeds 100 pages or 2 person hours(the
rate is determined based on the lowest
paid administrative staff qualified to
complete the request and estimated cost is
due prior to the request being completed)
Attorney hours $175 per hour (estimated cost is due prior
[if redaction is required] to the request being completed)
Section 2: This resolution shall be in full force and effect on July 1, 2016.
Passed and approved this 30 day of June.
