Werkman moved to approve the minutes of the January regular meeting. Meyer seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Van Heiden moved to approve the Treasurer’s Report for January. Werkman seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Van Heiden moved to approve the following bills for payment. Hippen seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Greg Winger, Fire Chief, presented the Fire Department report and update on how soon the new fire truck will be in service. Donn Anderson, DWA Farms, presented information on the treatment of Emerald Ash Bore. Evie Haupt requested the use of City Hall for a “Ladies Night Out” business promotion on March 2nd. The council approved the use of the building. Nathan Vogel, Public Works, presented the city report. Angela Koch, Swimming Pool Manger, presented information on the upcoming pool season. Wendy Lage, City Clerk, presented the FY 2018 budget. Public Hearing is scheduled for March 6, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. Hippen moved to approve liquor licenses for the Wellsburg Community Club and the Meadowbrook Golf Course.
