Howard Hayes Also attending was David Tately, Deputy Assessor Mr. Hayes called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. Old Business: Mr. Jursak moved, and Mr. Hayes seconded, that the minutes for the following meetings be approved: October 4, 2005; January 5, 2006; January 1 1, 2006; January 19, 2006; February 9, 2006; February 16, 2006; March 23, 2006; and September 13, 2006. The motion passed 2-0. New Business: Mr. Jursak moved to transfer $8,755.92 from FY 03 Overlay Account and $45,444.08 from the FY 04 Overlay Account to the Overlay Surplus Account. Mr. Hayes seconded. The motion passed 2-0. The Board signed the Chapter 61A lien for David and Eunice Grew, 0 West Gate Rd., made necessary by a change of ownership, and the Chapter 61 A lien for Carl Ahlstrom and Elizabeth Perry, 80 Blue Jacket Way, for newly classified property. Mr. Jursak motioned to enter into Executive Session at 7:21 p.m. to discuss Abatements and Exemptions and not return to open session. Mr. Hayes seconded. The motion passed 2-0 Board of Assessors Meeting November 8, 2006 Executive Session Mr. Jursak moved to grant the Exemptions on the attached list, starting with Donnelly, Clause 17D and ending with Clark, Clause 22E. Mr. Hayes seconded the motion, which passed 2-0. Mr. Jursak moved to deny the Clause 18 Exemption application filed by William Hulick, 148 South Pond Drive, on the grounds that the hardship was not of sufficient severity to warrant approval. Mr. Hayes seconded. The motion passed 2-0. Mr. Jursak moved to deny the Fiscal Year 2007 application of the Cape Cod National Golf Course for exemption under the provisions of Chapter 61 B. The basis for the denial is that the course is not available to the general public or to the members of anon-profit organization as required by Chapter 61 B, Section 1. Mr. Hayes seconded the motion, which passed 3-0. Mr. Jursak moved to grant the following Personal Property abatements. Mr. Hayes seconded. 1. Estate of Murray Booth-297 Robbins Hill Rd. $3,050 2.
