L Call to Order; Roll Call
A. Mayor Murray called the special session of the Common
Council to order at 5:30 PM; upon roll call the following were
present: Phyllis Rokicki, Terry J. Smith, Mark Hammer, Jinsie
Bingham and Adam Cohen.
II. New Business
A. Ordinance 2010 -4, An Ordinance Amending Ordinance 2009-
11, An Ordinance Establishing the Size of the Departments of
City Government of The City of Greencastle, Indiana, Fixing
Salaries for the Employees of Such Departments and Fixing the
Salaries of Certain Other Appointed Officials for the Year,
2010, First reading.
i. Mayor Murray read this Ordinance in its entirety.
Discussion as to why this amendment is necessary and
with that explanation; Adam Cohen moved to adopt on
first reading; second by Jinsie Bingham, unanimous
approval.

B. Interviews of School Board Candidates
i. Mayor Murray opened the meeting itp to interviews with
each school board applicant. She shared that there are
three candidates and each will have approximately 30
minutes to answer questions from the Council.
ii. Monica Fennell, 108 Taylor Place, Greencastle, IN
iii. Jeffrey A. Boggess, 605 Anderson Street, Greencastle, IN
iv. Wesley Sampson, 33 Cottonwood Court, Greencastle, IN
C. Each candidate was asked questions by the Council and
discussed their reason for interest in this appointment.
D. At the conclusion of the interviews, Mayor Murray stated that a
decision and announcement will be given at the June 8 1h regular
meeting of the Common Council.
111. Adjournment
A. Motion by Jinsie Bingham to adjourn at 6:58 PM; second by
Mark Hammer, unanimous approval.
