AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.06.020 OF CHAPTER 17.06. (26),
TITLE 17, OF THE MOAB MUNICIPAL ORDINANCES REGARDING
DEFINITION OF GRADE IN ALL ZONES.
WHEREAS, the City Council, on advice of the Moab City Planning Commission deems
that it is necessary to amend the Moab Municipal Code with respect to the Definition of Grade in
all Zones.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:
17.02.060 Definitions.
26. "Grade" shall be as follows:
a. For the buildings adjoining L--`ing "' "'e`'' 11+ one street only, the elevation of
the sidewalk or centerline of the street, whichever is higher, at right angles to the
midpoint of the adjoining fFetating wall.
b. For the buildings adjoining fronting more than one street, the average of the
elevation of the sidewalks or centerlines of the street,`' whichever is higher, at
right angles to the midpoint of the adjoining fronting edge* wall.
c. For the buildings having no wall adjoining fronting the street, the average level
of the sidewalk or centerline of the surrounding streets, whichever is higher.
d. Any building wall parallel or nearly parallel to and not more than five (S) feet
from a street line is to be considered as adjoining the street.
