AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL
APPROPRIATIONS FROM CERTAIN FUNDS
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana passed an annual budget
for calendar year 2010 on September 28th, 2009 (Ordinance No. 40-2009);
and
WHEREAS, It has been determined it is now necessary to appropriate an additional sum of
money to certain funds, namely the Human Rights Department; and
WHEREAS, In addition to this appropriation to the Human Rights Department from the
General Fund, the Richmond Police Department will in 2010 augment monies
for the Human Rights Department, in an amount not to exceed Twenty -Five
Thousand Dollars ($25,000), to fund investigations by the Human Rights
Commission for the Police Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the following additional monetary sum is hereby appropriated to the following
fund:
1. General Fund — Human Rights - $ 35,000.00

Richmond, Indiana.
