A RESOLUTION:
AUTHORIZING A CONTRIBUTION TO THE LOUDOUN MUSEUM
FOR THE CELTIC FESTIVAL
WHEREAS, the Loudoun Museum will be contracting with Barnaby Production to
conduct the Celtic Festival at Morven Park during June 20-21, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the Celtic Festival attracts approximately 18,000 people to the event; and
WHEREAS, this event has a positive impact on the Town of Leesburg.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. A contribution of $2,500 shall be made to the Loudoun Museum for the
purpose of assisting with the Celtic Festival.
SECTION II. The funding shall be appropriated from the unappropriated fund balance.
