MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE CABLE COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Cable Commission member George Tellman tendered his resignation in
October, 1997; and
WHEREAS, this appointment is a cable francNsee appointment; and
WHEREAS, an advertisement was placed in the Leesburg Today to solicit letters of
interest from town residents; and
WHEREAS, on January 21, 1998, the Town Council held interviews of candidates
interested in serving on the Cable Commission; and
WHEREAS, Max Kipfer, General Manager of Cablevision of Loudoun was contacted by
the Clerk of Council and informed of the selection process and is in agreement with this
appointment:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
Mr. Charles O. Dartley is appointed to the Cable Commission, by the franchisee with the
consent of the Town Council, to fill the unexpired term of George Tellman whose term will expire
on June 30, 1998.
