ALrl~ORIZING PERSON-TO-PERSON TRANSFER OF A.B.C. LICENSE
#1201-44-007-004 FROM: COOKE AV~IqUE LIQUORS, INC. TO:: YEDITHI, ~NC.
WHERE., application has been made to the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, by YEDITHI, INC.
for a Person-To-Person Transfer of A.B.C. License ~/1201-44-00/-004, ~rom
Cooke Avenue Liquors, Inc;, present holder of s~ne, premises located at
66 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, NJ 07008, and.said Cooke Avenue Liquors, Inc.
has consented to assign their rights of said License to the aforesaid
applicant; and '
WHEREAS, according to law, the apPlication for transfer was duly adver-
tised in The News Tribune, a newspaper circulated in the Borough of
Carteret, NJ and no objections to said transfer, either verbally or in
writing, were filed or made to the Governing Body or to the Hunicipal
Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the application form is complete in all 'respects and the appli-
cant is qualified to be licensed according to all standaCds established
by Title 33 of the New Jersey Statutes, promulgated thereunder, as well
as pertinent local ordinances and conditions consistent with Title 33; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has disclosed, and the local authority reviewed,
the source of all funds used .in the purchase' of said license and the
licensed business and all additional financing obtained in connection
with the licensed business.
NOW, THEREtR)RE, BE IT AND iT IS HEREBy RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council
of the Borough of Cgrteret, County of MiddleseX,: State of New Jersey, that
A.B.C. License #1201-44-007-004, heretofore granted to Cooke Avenue
Liquors, Inc., to sell alcoholic beverages in conformity with the laws,
statutes, rules and regulations of the State of New Jersey and the reso-
lutions, ordinahces, rules and regulatic~s of the Borough of Carteret
relating to and concerning said license and 'the sale of alcoholic bev-
erages at 66 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, NJ 07008, be and the same is hereby
transferred to the applicant, YEDITHI, INCf and 'to be held by them until
such license expires, unless sooner revoked.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Municipal Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to execute the endorsement of transfer on behalf of the
Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret; and
BE IT FUR_THat RESOLVED, that two (2) certified copies of this Resolution
be sent forthwith to the State of New Jersey, Department of Law & Public
Safety, Division of Alcoholic Beverage Controll Licensing Bureau, CN 087,
Trenton, New Jersey 08625-0087.
Adopted the 1st day of June, 1995 and certified
as a true copy of the original on June 2, 1995.
