Rowland receives honor from Department of Labor
Pat Rowland of the McCall Office of the Idaho Department of Labor was recognized by Director Roger
Madsen during a recent statewide managers meeting in Boise.
Rowland was one of a select few employees statewide who were recognized for
their excellence by "Leading Through Creativity." Madsen noted that she is
"widely recognized for her leadership and technical knowledge."
He pointed to specific examples, including Rowland's development of strong
and creative relationships with schools to provide effective youth work experience
programs.
He also cited her extensive services to workers who have been affected by
business closures through the years, and her routine of going "above and
beyond" in her service to the public.
"We're so fortunate to have Pat on our staff," McCall Office Manager Jim
Thackeray said. "We appreciate ali she does in serving our local communities,
and we're very proud of her."
