AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2.84 OF THE MOAB MUNICIPAL CODE
REGARDING THE COMPOSITION OF THE MOAB ARTS AND RECREATION CENTER
ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Moab Arts and Recreation Center Advisory Board has recommended that the
composition of the Board should be reduced from nine to seven members; and
WHEREAS, the Moab Arts and Recreation Center Board has recommended that the Board be drawn
from a wide constituency of the community;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Moab that effective upon the signing of this
Ordinance that Chapter 2.84, Section 2.84.010 shall be amended to read as follows:
2.84.010 Composition of Board. A. The Moab Arts and Recreation Center Advisory
Board shall consist of seven members.
B. The membership of the Board shall be drawn from a constituency of the community.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by action of the Governing Body of the City of Moab in open session this 22nd day
of December, 1998.
