A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE NEWSPAPER -ON RECORD FOR.
LEGAL PUBLISHING REQUIREMENTS
WHEREAS: It has come to the attention of the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa that due
to the inconsistency of timely publishing for legal requirements in the Iowa City Press
Citizen, the City Council sees a need to designate a different newspaper for the
official legal publishing for the City of Tiffin, Iowa.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa desires to
designate the Cedar Rapids Gazette as the newspaper on record for the City of Tiffin,
Iowa for legal publishing requirements.
Council person John Wright made a -motion for Resolution 2009-22 for approval to
Change Newspaper on Record for Legal Publishing Requirements, to the Cedar
Rapids Gazette, motion seconded by Council person Mike Gericke. '

NAYS: None
' ABSENT: None
Whereupon, with Five approval votes, Mayor Phillips declared the Resolution 2009-
22 be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature
thereto.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 24TH DAY OF JUNE 2009.
