APPROVING TIlE VACATION OF A PORTION OF A SANI-TARY
SEWER EASEMENT WITHIN POTOMAC STATION, SECTION 2EF
WHEREAS, Richard A. Lanham of KSI Services, Inc. has requested that the Town vacate
a portion of an existing sanitary sewer easement within Potomac Station, Section 2EF; and
WHEREAS, the portion of the easement to be vacated will be within public street fight-
of-way upon recordation of the associated record plat; and
WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will not accept the right-
of-way with easements; and
WHEREAS, the VDOT will allow the Town to enter the right-of-way to maintain the
sanitary sewer, if necessary, in the future.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. That portion of the sanitary sewer easement labeled as "Portion of Ex. 15'
TOL San. Sewer Easement (D.B. 1339, PG. 1440) Hereby Vacated" as shown on the record plat
titled Potomac Station, Section 2EF dated June 3, 1997, and prepared by ATCS, P.L.C. is hereby
vacated.
SECTION II. This resolution shall be in effect upon the recordation of the associated
record plat as referenced above.
