AWARDING AN ADDITIONAL SERVICE TO BOWIE GRIDLEY
ARCHITECTS FOR FURNITURE DESIGN FOR THE THOMAS
BALCH LIBRARY RENOVATION AND EXPANSION PROJECT
WHEREAS, an additional service for furniture design is needed for the Thomas Balch
Library renovation and expansion project; and
WHEREAS, Bowie Gridley Architects provided a fee schedule for additional services in
the Professional Services Contract awarded by Town Council on January 16, 1996; and
WHEREAS, Town Council approval is required as part of the town's Purchasing Policy;
and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee recommended approval of the additional service on
April 7, 1998.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
The Town Manager is authorized to award an additional service for furniture design to
Bowie Gridley Architects in the amount of $6,400.00.
