AUTHORIZING AN EASEMENT TO NORTHERN VIRGINIA ELECTRIC
COOPERATIVE (NOVEC) FOR RELOCATION OF AERIAL UTILITIES FOR
SYCOLIN ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, plans for construction and improvements to Sycolin Road have been prepared and
reviewed by the town; and
WHEREAS, construction necessitates the relocation of electric easements currently encumbering
property owned by the town; and
WHEREAS, NOVEC has requested a 30' wide easement for purposes of installing and relocating
existing power lines.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute said easements and agreements, in a form
approved by the Deputy Town Attorney, to facilitate construction of the Sycolin Road improvements.
