AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS TO FUEL
AND MAINTAIN A SECOND BUS FOR LOUDOUN TRANSIT
WHEREAS, at the April 7, 1998 and April 21, 1998 Finance Committee meetings
Mark McGregor representing Loudoun Transit requested funding for fuel and minor
maintenance of a second bus dedicated to Leesburg; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee agreed to appropriate funds to Loudoun
Transit, in the amount of $5,000, to fuel and provide minor maintenance of a second bus
dedicated to operate within the corporate limits of Leesburg.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
SECTION I. An appropriation from the general fund balance in the amount of
$5,000 to provide fuel and minor maintenance of a second bus dedicated to operate within
the corporate limits of Leesburg is hereby authorized.
SECTION II. This appropriation shall be effective on July 1, 1998.
