AUTHORIZING A STREET CLOSING AND FEE WAIVER FOR THE
LEESBURG HOST LIONS CLUB'S CLASSIC CAR SHOW
WHEREAS, the Leesburg Host Lions Club will be hosting a Classic Car Show in downtown
Leesburg on Sunday, June 28, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the event requires the closing of King Street from Cornwall Street to Loudoun
Street and Market Street from Church Street to east of the town's municipal parking garage between the
hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on June 28; and
WHEREAS, the Leesburg Hosts Lions Club requests a fee waiver in the amount of $240 for
Public Works services associated with the street closure; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council Administration and Public Works Committee recommended the
respective street closing and fee waiver.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The town manager is hereby authorized to close King Street from Cornwall Street to Loudoun
Street and Market Street from Church Street to east of the town's municipal parking garage between the
hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on June 28, and to waive Public Works service fees in the amount of
$240.
