TO GRANT TO CONGRESSIONAL AIR CHARTERS OF VIRGINIA,
INC. A FIXED BASE OPERATOR LICENSE TO OPERATE A FLIGHT
SCHOOL, AIRCRAFT RENTAL AND CHARTER BUSINESS
WHEREAS, the Leesburg Municipal Airport Rules, Regulations, and Minimum Standards
require that anyone wanting to conduct commercial business or aeronautical activities on airport
property shall apply for the appropriate license; and
WHEREAS, an Operator who has been issued a license shall conduct only those services
for which he has been granted a license; and
WHEREAS, licenses must be renewed annually and license fees are due on or before
July 1 of each fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, Congressional Air Charters of Virginia, Inc. has made application for a Fixed
Base Operator (FBO) license to conduct a flight school, aircraft charter and rental business; and
WHEREAS, the Leesburg Airport Commission voted unanimously to approve the
application at its April 9, 1998 meeting; and
WHEREAS, the Airport Commission is forwarding the application to the Town Council
recommending approval;
THEREFORE, RESOLVED BY THE Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia to
grant Congressional Air Charters of Virginia, Inc., a license to operate a flight school, aircraft
charter and rental business.
