AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH FUOG-INTERBUILD, INC. FOR
DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF AN EQUIPMENT STORAGE BUILDING
WHEREAS, the FY98 budget includes an appropriation in the amount of $60,000 for the
construction of additional storage space at the Public Works Facility; and
WHEREAS, this project was duly advertised May 6, 1998 and sealed bids were received on May
26, 1998 pursuant to the town's Purchasing Policy and state purchasing laws; and
WHEREAS, the apparent low bidder, Fuog-Interbuild, Inc. did submit a responsive bid in the
amount of $43,690 and a determination has been made, based on qualifications and references, that the
bidder is responsible.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract on behalf of the town with
Fuog-Interbuild, Inc. of Purceliville, Virginia in the amount of $43,690, in a form approved by the town
attorney for design and construction of a covered storage building at the Public Works Facility.
