A RESOLUTION APPROVING OF'THE ALCOHOL, PERMIT FOR IOWA CITY /
CORALVILLE JAYCEES TWO DAYS FOR TIFFINFEST LOCATED AT THE CITY PARK
OF TIFFIN, IOWA EFFECTIVE JULY 10 AND 11, 2009.
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa has reviewed and will determine the
granting of the Alcohol Permit requested by the Iowa City / Coralville Jaycees at 2009
TiffinFest located at the city park of Tiffin, Iowa:
Whereas, the City Council has not discovered any reason to deny the renewal of the Alcohol
Permit for Iowa City / Coralville Jaycees, therefore City Council directs the City Clerk to
submit for_local authority, approval of permit to the State of Iowa Alcoholic Beverages
Division.
On the 8th day of July 2009, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa.
Councilperson James Bartels introduced Resolution 2009-24 and made a motion for
APPROVING OF THE ALCOHOL PERMIT FOR IOWA CITY / CORALVILLE JAYCEES
TWO DAYS FOR TIFFINFEST LOCATED AT THE CITY PARK OF TIFFIN, IOWA
EFFECTIVE JULY 10 AND 11 2009. Motion seconded by Council person John Wright:

Nays: None
Absent: Mike Gericke
WHEREUPON, the,Mayor Royce Phillips declared that the RESOLUTION 2009-24
APPROVING OF THE ALCOHOL PERMIT FOR IOWA CITY / CORALVILLE JAYCEES
FOR TWO DAYS FOR TIFFINFEST LOCATED AT THE CITY PARK OF TIFFIN, IOWA
EFFECTIVE JULY 10 AND 11, 200% by'adopted and signified his approval of the same by
affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 8th day of July 2009 and approved by'the Mayor on the
2009.
